CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-522 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 224 <br />UNIT RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT ON APPROXIMATELY 230 ACRES <br />AT THE SOUTHERN TERMINUS OF BERNAL AVENUE, CONCORD <br />STREET AND BORDEAUX STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for <br />rezoning and development plan approval for a 224 unit <br />residential development on an approximately 230 acre <br />site, located generally in the area south of the <br />southern terminus of Bernal Avenue, Concord Street, and <br />Bordeaux Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated August 2, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Mitigated <br />Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review of the <br />Initial Study, and the testimony and documentary <br />evidence presented at the public hearing that there may <br />be significant impacts on the environment, but that <br />conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations <br />render these potential impacts insignificant; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Mitigated Negative Declaration for <br /> rezoning and development plan approval for a 224 unit <br /> residential development on an approximately 230 acre <br /> site, located generally in the area south of the <br /> southern terminus of Bernal Avenue, Concord Street, and <br /> Bordeaux Street, subject to mitigating conditions <br /> numbers 4, 5, 35, 36, 37 and 42 as set forth in Exhibit <br /> "A" attached to Ordinance No. 1158 and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
