CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-521 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLaN LAND USE ELEMENT <br />DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 5.2 ACRE SITE LOCATED <br />600 FT. SOUTH OF KOTTINGER DRIVE AND BERNAL AVENUE <br />CHANGING IT FROM "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "MEDIUM <br />DENSITy~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an <br />amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element <br />designation of an approximately 5.2 acre site located at <br />approximately 600 feet south of the intersection of <br />Kottinger Drive and Bernal Avenue changing it from "Low <br />Density Residential" to "Medium Density Residential"; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated August 2, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br />the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an <br />approximately 5.2 acre site located at approximately 600 <br />feet south of the intersection of Kottinger Drive and <br />Bernal Avenue changing it from "Low Density Residential" <br />to "Medium Density Residential". <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
