CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-521 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLaN LAND USE ELEMENT DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 5.2 ACRE SITE LOCATED 600 FT. SOUTH OF KOTTINGER DRIVE AND BERNAL AVENUE CHANGING IT FROM "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "MEDIUM DENSITy~ WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for an amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately 5.2 acre site located at approximately 600 feet south of the intersection of Kottinger Drive and Bernal Avenue changing it from "Low Density Residential" to "Medium Density Residential"; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 2, 1984 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the city council has reviewed the potential impacts accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and in WHEREAS, the city Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately 5.2 acre site located at approximately 600 feet south of the intersection of Kottinger Drive and Bernal Avenue changing it from "Low Density Residential" to "Medium Density Residential". Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
