CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-520 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO REDESIGNATE A 2.5 ACRE SITE <br />LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF MONACO DRIVE, IMMEDIATELY <br />NORTH OF THE COMMERCIAL COMPLEX AT 44-90 MISSION DRIVE, <br />FROM "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" TO "HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a General <br />Plan Amendment to redesignate a 2.5 acre site located on <br />the east side of Monaco Drive, immediately north of the <br />commercial complex at 44-90 Mission Drive, from <br />"Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential"; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated March 5, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan <br /> Amendment to redesignate a 2.5 acre site located on the <br /> east side of Monaco Drive, immediately north of the <br /> commercial complex at 44-90 Mission Drive, from <br /> "commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential". <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
