CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-518 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF 10,000 SQ. FT. LOCATED AT 1734 SANTA RITA ROAD FROM "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation of 10,000 sq. ft. located at 1734 Santa Rita Road from "Medium Density Residential" to the "Commercial and Offices" District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 31, 1984 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation of 10,000 sq. ft. located at 1734 Santa Rita Road from "Medium Density Residential" to the "Commercial and Offices" District (GP~84-3). Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
