CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-518 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF 10,000 SQ. FT. LOCATED AT 1734 SANTA RITA ROAD FROM <br />"MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a General <br />Plan amendment changing the land use designation of <br />10,000 sq. ft. located at 1734 Santa Rita Road from <br />"Medium Density Residential" to the "Commercial and <br />Offices" District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated July 31, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan <br /> amendment changing the land use designation of 10,000 <br /> sq. ft. located at 1734 Santa Rita Road from "Medium <br /> Density Residential" to the "Commercial and Offices" <br /> District (GP~84-3). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
