CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-500 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF MICHAEL PERKINS OF A <br />DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A SUBDIVISION SALES <br />OFFICE AND MODEL HOME COMPLEX AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF <br />SPRINGDALE AVENUE AND STONEDALE DRIVE (AP-84-10) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Stoneson made application for a conditional use permit <br />to establish and operate a subdivision sales office and <br />model home complex in three residential units located at <br />the southeast corner of Springdale Avenue and Stonedale <br />Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the conditional use <br /> permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the approval was appealed to the City Council; and staff <br />was directed by the City Council to get further <br />information regarding traffic and safety in the area; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received a staff report containing the <br />requested traffic information and held a public hearing <br />on October 2, 1984 to receive comments from the <br />applicant and the public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council makes the following findings: <br /> <br />that the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of the Zoning <br />Ordinance and the purposes of the District in which <br />the site is located; <br /> <br />that the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and he conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the <br />vicinity; and <br /> <br />that the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the Zoning <br />Ordinance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Denies the appeal of Michael Perkins to a decision of <br />the Planning Commission approving a conditional use <br />permit, thereby approving a conditional use permit to <br /> <br /> <br />
