Warnick
Director of Public Works & Utilities
City of Pleasanton
200 Bernal Avenue
P.O. Box 520
Pleasanton, California 94566

SUBJECT: Sewer Master Planning

Dear Bob:

Pursuant to your request, I am pleased to submit our proposal for the
subject services. Enclosed for your review are the following:

Exhibit 1 - Proposed Work Plan

Exhibit 2 - Manpower Estimate

Exhibit 3 - Proposed Project Schedule

Exhibit 4 - 1984 Standard Schedule of Compensation

As discussed, we are prepared to undertake the identified work in Exhibit 1
based on time, materials and our prevailing Standard Schedule of Compen-
sation to a maximum authorization of $53,000. Should there be a change
in work scope requiring an increase of the authorization ceiling, we will
notify you and obtain approval prior to commencing any work.

Computer time is not included in overhead and is billed separately. We
propose to bill computer time on a lump sum basis per task as identified
in Exhibit 1.

As we discussed, Lowry has performed a substantial amount of analysis on
the East Amador Trunk Sewer, at the request of Hacienda Business Park
developers. The proposed work plan includes incorporation of that work
into the final report, so the completed document will be a City-wide
master plan for the sewer system.

AUG Z 1984

4637 Chabot Drive · Suite 101 · Pleasanton, California 94566 · (415) 463-9470
