CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1984, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br /> <br />LOWRY & ASSOCIATES, a California corporation (hereinafter referred <br /> <br />to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, sanitary sewer studies and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgement of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose <br />of undertaking the Master Sanitary Sewer System Study. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements, and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform <br />the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, and so forth <br />as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit "A", <br />Sewer Master Planning by Lowry and Associates dated <br />August 21, 1984, attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />by this reference. <br /> <br />Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of the <br />City, other pertinent agencies, and/or landowners as <br />necessary to complete the scope of work outlined in <br />Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Gary E. Lee. <br />Consultant shall not replace Gary E. Lee without the prior approval <br />of the City. <br /> <br /> 3. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. Consultant agrees <br />all sanitary sewer studies performed for City shall be proper <br />professional sanitary sewer studies and shall be adequate and <br />sufficient to meet the purposes for which they are performed. <br /> <br />that <br /> <br /> <br />
