CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-481 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR CIVIC CENTER EXPANSION, <br />PROJECT NO. 83-12, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br />PAYMENT TO BANKE CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Banke Construction on the Civic Center expansion, <br /> Project No. 83-12, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Civic Center expansion is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a warrant <br /> in the amount of $53,142.27 in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on Project <br /> No. 83-12. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or <br /> $40,053.00 will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 2, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
