CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-471 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-123 (A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERVICES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON) ESTABLISHING A WATER CONNECTION FEE SURCHARGE IN THE AREA BENEFITED BY PROPOSED WATER RESERVOIR IN THE BONDE ZONE WHEREAS, Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing Fees and Charges for Various Municipal Services) is the present repository for listing of fees and charges for the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, item 4c on the September 11, 1984 City Council meeting agenda (SR 84:464) described the need for additional water system improvements in this subarea of the community and the need for a water connection fee surcharge to finance needed system improvements; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 77-123 is amended by adding subsection VII-A (Water Connection Fee Surcharge for Area of Benefit of Additional Bonde Zone Reservoir) to read as follows: "VII-A. WATER CONNECTION FEE SURCHARGE FOR AREA OF BENEFIT OF ADDITIONAL BONDE ZONE RESERVOIR Within the Area of Benefit as shown on Exhibit labeled "Area of Benefit of Additional Bonde Zone Water Reservoir" there shall be an additional water connection fee surcharge of $1,050 for each new water service connection. The Area of Benefit is intended to include all properties serviced by the Bonde Zone reservoir which are those between the elevations of approximately 390 feet and 550 feet and all properties at higher elevations which take water from the Bonde Zone reservoirs. Upon recommendation of the City Engineer and approval of the City Council, the amount of this fee may be reduced for connections above the Bonde Zone, upon a showing of exceptional water system
