CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-450 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF SLURRY SEALING ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS, <br />PROJECT NO. 84-11, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAY- <br />MENT TO MCREYNOLDS PAVING COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by McReynolds Paving Company on the slurry sealing <br />on various city streets, Project No. 84-11, has been <br />satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on slurry sealing on various city streets, <br /> Project No. 84-11, is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $28,494.64 in favor of <br /> McReynolds Paving Company in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on Project <br /> No. 84-11. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or <br /> $3,166.07 will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 11, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None ~E~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> CER, MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />A~R~OVED AS TO FORM: <br /> " .. <br />Peter D.
