RESOLUTION NO. 84-448 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> NORTH PLEASANTON FIRE PROTECTION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-6 <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This City Council has given preliminary approval to <br />the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in North <br />Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District No. 1982-6,'City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. The report includes plans <br />and specifications for the construction of improvements described in <br />the report. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br />for the construction of the off-site improvements not later than <br />2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 4, 1984, in the office of th~ City <br />Clerk located at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At that <br />time and place the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, <br />examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br />to reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if <br />made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time <br />fixed in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by <br />the City and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice <br />inviting sealed proposals in THE VALLEY TIMES in accordance with the <br />Municipal Improvement Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is <br />authorized to give additional notice and to distribute additional <br />information as necessary in the judgment of the Engineer of Work, to <br />secure competitive bidding. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
