CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-434 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR DEBT SERVICE <br />ON VOTER APPROVED GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS DURING <br />FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, a general law city, must establish <br />its 1984-85 fiscal year tax rate for debt service on voter <br />approved General Obligation Bonds and notify the County <br />Auditor of said tax rate before September 1, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the tax rate for Debt Service on Bond issues approved <br />by the voters is specifically exempt from the tax rate <br />limitations imposed by California Constitution Article <br />XIII A (Proposition 13); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The tax rate for debt service on voter approved General <br /> Obligation Bonds for the City of Pleasanton for fiscal <br /> year 1984-85 is fixed as follows: <br /> <br />Debt Service <br /> <br />District No. 1 <br />.0065% of full value <br /> <br />Debt Service <br /> <br />District No. 2 <br />.0065% of full value <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> This resolution shall be published once within fifteen <br />(15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br />newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated <br />in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 28, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers - Brandes and tier <br />ABSTAIN: None ~~R <br />ATTEST: <br /> mes R.
