Please note that within the City limits, aerial based manuscripts have been prepared as part of North Pleasanton sewer atlas work. For areas outside of the City limits, additional aerial work would be required in order to prepare the base maps requested by the Fire Depaoftment. This additional aerial work has been estimated and included in our cost estimates. The cost for the above work is estimated to be $88,600. We propose to do the work on a time and material basis not to exceed the authorized amount without prior authorization. A copy of our 1984 Standard Schedule of Compensation is attached for your information. As we discussed, it is difficult to predict the degree and extent required to research and compile record construction information. This can be particularly significant in older communities. Therefore, with the guidance of your staff, we would initially select a sample area for preparation of the base maps and overlays. Upon completion of the sample area maps, the time requirements and schedule can be better defined. We would then adjust the cost estimate as appropriate. The cost estimates are also based on the assumption that the information on the sewer systems are readily available and prints of the improvement plans will be provided by the City. If any field verification work is required, it would be done on the time and material basis as needed and as agreed to by the City.
