CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-421 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF BALLISTIC <br />UNITED SOCCER CLUB FOR A PARADE PERMIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of August 28, 1984, <br />received a report dated August 20, 1984 (SR 84:446) <br />from the Assistant to the City Manager regarding an <br />application from the Ballistic United Soccer Club <br />for a permit to hold a parade on September 8, 1984 <br />to mark the opening day of Ballistic Soccer and <br />Pleasanton Girls' Soccer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has recommended that the City Council approve <br />the application; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of the Ballistic United <br /> Soccer Club for a permit to sponsor a parade on <br /> September 8, 1984, to be held in the City of Pleasanton <br /> as more particularly delineated in the report of the <br /> Assistant to the City Manager, subject to all conditions <br /> set forth by the Police Department and Fire Department. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: The City budget for the 1983-84 fiscal year is amended <br /> by approximately $418.00necessary to pay for costs <br /> incurred in relationship to the parade. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 28, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers - Brandes and tier <br />ABSTAIN: None des a~~r~CER~ <br />A~jA~a'mEST: <br /> es R. /d~c <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
