a. DireCt salary Costs shall apply only for the <br />time directly attributable and properly chargeable to the <br />Project under the terms of this Agreement, and shall be <br />determined by multiplying the employee's hourly rate of pay <br />Dy the number of hours worked. <br /> <br /> b. The present ranges of compensation of Engineer'S <br />employees are as shown on EXhibit "A" attached hereto an~ by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Exhibit "A" may be <br />revised and superseded as changes in Engineer's labor costs <br />require, subject to approval of City. <br /> <br /> c. For services rendered by Engineer not included <br />in this Agreement but required in writing by City. City <br />agrees to reimburse Engineer in an amount equal to the <br />actual payroll salaries tmes 2.60 plus direct non-salary <br />costs, as specified in paragraph 2, below. <br /> <br /> 2. City shall reimburse Engineer for its direct non- <br />salary costs which are directly attributable and properly <br />allocable to the ProjeCt, plus five percent to cover the <br />cost of billing and administration. Direct non-Salary CoStS <br />include (1) the Engineer's payments to others engaged by him <br />on work necessary to fulfill the terms of this Agreement, <br />including printing or reproduction of plans or other documents, <br />engineering-geology investigations and reports, materials <br />tests, and long distance telephone calls, any payments in <br />excess of $100 each being substantiated by copies of invoices; <br />and (2) cha~ges for use Of Engineer's IBM 4341 electronic <br />computer, the billable hours for the computer being the <br />actual operating hours as taken from the clock on the computer, <br />and billed at the prevailing hourly rates established by <br />Engineer._ <br /> <br /> <br />
