CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-414 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION TO THE PUBLIC <br />UTILITIES COMMISSION FOR THE HACIENDA DRIVE UNDER- <br />CROSSING AT THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC HAILROAD TRACKS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the developers of Hacienda Business Park desire to <br />construct an undercrossing at the Southern Pacific <br />railroad tracks at the existing northerly terminus <br />of Hacienda Drive in Hacienda Business Park, Phase <br />I, to provide access to Phase II and possibly the <br />future extension of Hacienda Drive to an interchange <br />with 1-680; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 14, 1984, the City Council <br />received a report (SR 84:422) describing the <br />proposed undercrossing and including a copy of the <br />application to the Public Utilities Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held at which time any interested <br /> parties could give testimony to the Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br />no significant adverse effects on the environment <br />a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br />August 14, 1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Council approves the application to the Public <br /> Utilities Commission for the Hacienda Drive undercrossing <br /> at the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and authorizes <br /> the staff to make the appropriate submission. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 14, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~E~CE~ <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
