RESOLUTION NO. 8~-398 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENT IN NORTH PLEASANTON FIRE PROTECTION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-6 The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: This Council intends to order the following improvement under the authority of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913: a. The construction a fire station designed to house three (3) pieces of first-line fire apparatus and 27 personnel on three shifts, together with necessary offices, storage space, workshop, classroom, exercise room and living quarters, totaling approximately 12,464 square feet, together with all necessary appurtenances, and the acquisition and improvement of a site approximately 1.11 acres in size for the station to be located on the east side of Stoneridge Mall Road north of Stoneridge Drive. b. The construction of a Fire Training Facility including a five- story training tower, smoke room and hot-fire room containing approximately 3,000 square feet, together with all necessary appurtenances; and the acquisition and improvement of a site approximately 2.5 acres in size for the training facility. This Council finds that the land specially benefited by the improvement is shown within the boundaries of the map entitled, "Proposed Boundaries of North Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District No. 1982-6, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California". This map has been approved by the City Council and is now on file with the City Clerk. The land within the exterior boundaries shown on the map shall be designated North Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District No. 1982-6, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. This Council intends to levy a special assessment upon the land within the described district in accordance with the special benefit to be received by each parcel of land, respectively, from the improvement.
