and a reduction of $1,341,798 in the Water Operations Maintenance Fund. The <br />recommended adjustments in Water Operations Maintenance involve a reduction of <br />$28,000 in Water Operations Maintenance program for meters purchased for resale <br />based on building permits issued and some miscellaneous contracted services, a <br />reduction of $22,000 in the Water Quality Planning program for expenses for training <br />and lab fees not expected to be expended, $70,000 in the Water Conservation program <br />for miscellaneous contracted services, and a reduction of $1,237,267 in the budget for <br />water purchased from Zone 7. This updated estimate for water purchases includes <br />recent trends for consumption changes due to weather and conservation efforts. <br />Internal Service Funds Fund Overview <br />Revenue adjustment include decreased revenues of $407,773 and reductions in <br />expenditures of $350,000. These adjustments were primarily attributable to the <br />reduction of $350,000 from the retiree medical contribution for Pleasanton's share of <br />LPFD. Contributions such as this flow through a number of funds including the <br />Employee Benefits and the LPFD Retirees Medical Reserve Funds. Other adjustments <br />include changes in the interest earnings assumptions for various funds. <br />Special Revenue Funds Fund Overview <br />Revenue adjustment include decreased revenues of $198,092 and reductions in <br />expenditures of $478,693. These adjustments were primarily attributable to the <br />reduction of $350,000 from the retiree medical contribution for Pleasanton's share of <br />LPFD which reduced the consolidated LPFD budget. Other adjustments include <br />changes in the interest earnings assumptions for various funds and a reduced estimate <br />for Measure D grant funding and other revenues in the Recycling Waste Management <br />Fund. <br />Submitted by: <br />LOLv <br />David P.
