ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />The proposal is exempt from environmental review under Section 15332, In -Fill <br />Development Projects, of Article 19, Categorical Exemptions, of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act. <br />CONCLUSION <br />The proposal will add 12 new rental units to the Civic Square Apartment development. <br />It will also insure that 12 units throughout the project will be reserved for moderate- and <br />low- income households. The proposal is designed in a manner that is sensitive and <br />compatible with the site and nearby developments. The proposed project will provide <br />affordable multi family rental housing in close proximity to the Downtown, public transit, <br />and schools.
