CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIF0iNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-391 RESOLUTION VACATING EXCESS PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT IN THE MEYER CENTER DEVELOPMENT ON HOPYARD ROAD WHEREAS, certain public improvements have been relocated within the Meyer Center Development in order to conform to new property lines created by Parcel Map 3905, leaving no public facilities within certain public service ease- ments; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8333 of the Streets and Highway Code, the City may sunmnarily vacate a public service easement superseded by relocation when there are no other public facilities located within the easement; and WHEREAS, the proposed vacation of the easements is consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 4, Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code and based upon the findings above, those certain Public Service Easements shown in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, are hereby vacated. Section 2. The clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution of vacation to be recorded in the office of the Alameda County Recorder and from and after the date the resolution is recorded, the easements vacated no longer constitute public service easements. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
