CZTY COUNCIL OF THE CZTY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-476 <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING MICHAEL H. ROUSH AS CITY ATTORNEY <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, Peter D. MacDonald, City Attorney of Pleasanton, re- <br />signed his position effective July 7, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, the City sought applicants for the position with the <br />most qualified candidates presented to the City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, after review of the qualifications of the applicants and <br />interviews, the City Council has determined that <br />Michael H. Roush is the most qualified and best suited <br />to the position of the City Attorney of the City of <br />Pleasanton; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RE- <br />SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section l: Appoints Michael H. Roush as City Attorney of the <br />City of Pleasanton effective September 26, 1988, with a <br />yearly salary of $70,000 and those benefits itemized on <br />the attached Exhibit "A". <br />Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 4, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br />Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN:None <br />ATTEST: <br />KE NE H MERCER, MAYOR <br />f y ~j <br />James R.
