CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIF0~]IA RESOLUTION NO. 84-380 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTOil AND THE PLEASANTON FIREFIGHTERS INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE- FIGHTERS, LOCAL 1974, AND FIXIi]G SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1983-84 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Fire- fighters, Local 1974, have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process,a Memorandum of Understanding dated July 23, 1984, was entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Fire- fighters, Local 1974; and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of July 24, 1984; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~NTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974, for a term commencing July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1986, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incor- porated herein by reference, is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. Section 2: The employees class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of
