CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAjqTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-379 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED SETTLEMENT <br />AGREEMENT REGARDING THE THREE GRAVEL COMPANY <br />LAWSUITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 24, 1984, the City Council <br />received and reviewed a proposed settlement of <br />the pending litigation regarding use of City streets <br />by three gravel companies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after extensive discussion, it was deemed in the <br />City's best interest to accept the proposed settlement <br />agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the proposed settlement agreement <br /> regarding the three gravel companies' lawsuits against <br /> the City of Pleasanton, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmembers - Mohr and Woo <br /> <br />/B~Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
