CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA CO~TY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-376 RESOLUTION DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE THE APPLI- CATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR TWO OFFICE BUILDINGS TOTALLING APPROXIMATELY 217,000 SQ. FT. LOCATED ON 14.16 ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST COiNER OF HOPYARD ROAD AND WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD (PUD-81-30-15D) WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design approval for two office buildings totalling approxi- mately 217/000 sq. ft. proposed to be constructed on the 14.16 acre site located at the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and West Las Positas (SR 84:396); and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) including the typical architectural and site designs for individual lots, and there are no changed circum- stances or new information requiring additional environmental review; therefore, this application does not constitute a new project under CEQA and no new environmental documents accompany this application; and WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on July 24, 1984 and testimony taken concerning the proposed project including its design, cumulative impact, consistency with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed concerns with the design of the project, expecially regarding access; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Denies without prejudice the application of Prudential Insurance Company for design approval of two office buildings totalling approximately 217,000 sq. ft. proposed to be located on the 14.16 acre site located at the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and West Las Positas. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
