RESOLUTION NO. 09-275 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIXED AND UNIFORM REFUSE COLLECTION RATES FOR THE PERIOD APRIL 1, 2009 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2011 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton (City) and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. (Contractor) have entered into an agreement for the exclusive collection, transportation and disposal of dry garbage and refuse from the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 9.20.090 of the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code, rates for refuse services shall be set by a resolution approved by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, Contractor shall conduct all billing related to construction, transportation, recycling and disposal of said garbage and refuse in strict accordance with rates listed in such Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The fee schedule set forth in Resolution No. 08-221 is hereby rescinded. SECTION 2. The rates for the collection, transport and disposal of dry garbage and refuse from the City of Pleasanton for Commercial Services, Residential Services and for Transfer Station Services, are revised effective April 1, 2009 as outlined in Exhibit A. SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on April 7, 2009.
