Public Utilities Commission (PUC) Rule 20A <br />Rule 20A provides an annual allocation to Alameda County from PG&E for <br />infrastructure improvements related to electric utility under-grounding. <br />State Funds for Transportation Financing <br />[n addition to the program above, there arc several transportation financing opportunity <br />programs including Flexible Congestion Relief Program, State and Local "transportation <br />Partnership Program (SCCPP), "traffic System Management Program, Urade Separation <br />Program, [3icycle Lane Account, and Petroleum Violation Escrow Account. <br />Supportive Housing Initiative Act <br />This competitive statewide program encourages the development of permanent, <br />affordable housing with supportive services for low-income people with disabilities. <br />Grants cover services and operating costs in supportive housing. <br />LOCAL <br />Alameda County Housing Authority Reserves <br />[n addition to their allocations of Section 8 Certificates and Vouchers and conventional <br />public housing units, the [lousing Authority has local reserve hinds. The reserves may be <br />used for housing purposes consistent with state and local laws. Most reserves are set <br />aside to cover cash flow and administrative costs and to pay for shortfalls in conventional <br />public housing. However, some funds are set aside to develop affordable housing. <br />City Development Fee Waivers <br />Che City may waive, on a case by case basis, City development fees for projects (or <br />portions of projects) which include the construction of lower income units, either rental or <br />ownership. The City has used this incentive to promote the construction of numerous <br />major affordable housing developments since the 1980's.
