contingency plan (as recommended by the Human Services Commission and Housing <br />Commission) to address the allocation of a surplus (or deficit) in overall CDBG funding. <br />The contingency plan is included on page 16 of the Action Plan and will be used to <br />address the receipt of any additional CDBG funds beyond the $250,000 estimate as <br />well as the allocation of the $74,608 in CDBG-R funds (subject to the CDBG-R <br />guidelines established by HUD). <br />Staff recommends that the Council provide comments on the attached draft annual <br />Action Plan for fiscal year 2009 as deemed appropriate, listen to any public testimony <br />regarding the annual Action Plan, and approve the document for submission to HUD by <br />the applicable deadline.
