CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-357 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />RESURFACING OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS (ALVORD WAY, <br />DENKER DRIVE, DORMAN ROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE), <br />PROJECT NO. 84-8, AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his <br />report dated July 24, 1984 (SR 84:380), advised <br />the City Council that plans and specifications had <br />been completed for resurfacing various city streets <br />(Alvord Way, Denker Drive, Dorman Road and Valley <br />Avenue), Project No. 84-8, and that said plans <br />have been reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 24, 1984, the City Council <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities relating to the project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the resur- <br /> facing of various city streets (Alvord Way, Denker <br /> Drive, Dorman Road and Valley Avenue), Project No. 84-8. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the calling of bids for the above <br /> project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />- Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br /> <br />
