RESOLUTION NO. 09 -270 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, CHANGING THE NAME OF FABIAN COURT TO WORKDAY WAY WHEREAS, Workday Inc. has requested the City to consider renaming Fabian Court to Workday Way; and WHEREAS, Workday Inc. will reimburse all costs for the purchase and installation of replacement signage; and WHEREAS, none of the businesses or properties that adjoin Fabian Court have Fabian Court addresses and no direct impacts to the local businesses and properties were identified by staff; and WHEREAS, Fabian Court is not on the City's Heritage Street Name list; and WHEREAS, local businesses and property owners received notices requesting comments on the proposed name change; and WHEREAS, staff did not receive comments from local businesses and property owners on the proposed name change. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Council approves changing the name of Fabian Court to Workday Way. SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on March 17, 2009.
