RESOLUTION NO. 09-270 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />CHANGING THE NAME OF FABIAN COURT TO WORKDAY WAY <br />WHEREAS, Workday Inc. has requested the City to consider renaming Fabian Court to <br />Workday Way; and <br />WHEREAS, Workday Inc. will reimburse all costs for the purchase and installation of <br />replacement signage; and <br />WHEREAS, none of the businesses or properties that adjoin Fabian Court have Fabian <br />Court addresses and no direct impacts to the local businesses and properties were identified by <br />staff; and <br />WHEREAS, Fabian Court is not on the City's Heritage Street Name list; and <br />WHEREAS, local businesses and property owners received notices requesting <br />comments on the proposed name change; and <br />WHEREAS, staff did not receive comments from local businesses and property owners <br />on the proposed name change. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Council approves changing the name of Fabian Court to Workday Way. <br />SECTION 2.
