CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-354 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED EXHIBIT TO PUC <br />APPLICATION FOR THE VALLEY AVENUE CROSSING OF THE <br />WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 10, 1984, the City Council <br />reviewed proposed changes to an exhibit to the PUC <br />application for the Valley Avenue crossing of the <br />Western Pacific Railroad; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the following changes in the exhibit <br /> for the PUC application for the Valley Avenue <br /> crossing of the Western Pacific Railroad: <br /> <br />Terminate the Southern Pacific Spur track <br />easterly of proposed Valley Avenue or such <br />other configuration considered suitable by <br />staff. <br /> <br />Add additional yard tracks southerly of Busch <br />Road. <br /> <br />Show double left turn lanes southbound on <br />Valley Avenue to Stanley Boulevard. <br /> <br />Provide a free right turn westbound on Stanley <br />Boulevard to Valley Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~.N~~/C ,~ <br /> ABSTAIN: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />~TTEST: ~ ~/C~le <br /> ames R. lker, Cit rk <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />t!~ ~: ~ <br />Peter ~. ~'acDona ~Qty orney <br /> <br /> <br />
