Exhibit A <br />-- -- -~ AQUATIC <br />PROPOSAL FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />1 .l AQUATIC DESIGN GROUP, INC. of Carlsbad, California (hereinafter <br />referred to as "CONSULTANT"), proposes to provide consulting <br />design services to CITY OF PLEASANTON, (hereinafter referred to as <br />"CLIENT") for the following project: <br />Pleasanton Aquatic Center Renovation Phase III <br />Pleasanton, California <br />1.2 In conformance with the Request for Proposal dated 29 April 2008 <br />as issued by Mr. Chris Risolli, CONSULTANT shall provide: <br />2.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br />2.1 CONSULTANT shall provide design and engineering services as <br />hereinafter described for the' following swimming pools: <br />2.1.1 Renovation of existing 40' x 60' Diving Pool and mechanical <br />equipment <br />2.1.2 Renovation of existing 60' x 82' Racing Pool and mechanical <br />equipment <br />2.1.3 Renovation of existing 60' x 75' Shallow Pool and <br />mechanical equipment <br />2.1 .4 Removal and replacement of existing pool mechanical <br />building to support items 2.1.1-2.1.3 above <br />2.1 .5 Removal and replacement of pool deck and deck <br />drainage and appurtenances <br />3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />3.1 Schematic Design Phase: <br />3.1.1 CONSULTANT shall review the program furnished by CLIENT <br />to ascertain the requirements of the project and shall arrive <br />at a mutual understanding of such requirements with <br />CLIENT. <br />
