Pursuant to the Permit <br />Streamlining Act, and specifically Government Code section 65950(a), the City is required to <br />approve or disapprove the Application within 60 days of the Application being deemed <br />complete. In this case, the Application was deemed complete by the City on or before October <br />23, 2008. Therefore, the proposed continuance would violate the Applicant's rights pursuant to <br />the Permit Streamlining Act. Furthermore, the City's failure to timely act will be deemed <br />approval of the Application pursuant to Governm<:nt Code section 65956(b). <br />I hope the City immediately reconsiders its intent to delay the Hearing.
