THE CITY OF <br />~# •-6 ""' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />~L£~S~NTONe <br />April 7, 2009 <br />Finance Department <br />TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT POLICY <br />AND GUIDELINES FOR FY 2009-10 <br />SUMMARY <br />Pursuant to Government Code §§53601 and 53635, the City's investment policy must <br />be submitted to Council annually for adoption. There is no change to the current <br />investment policy. This report merely satisfies the legal requirement that the City <br />Council adopt an annual investment policy. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached Investment Policy and Guidelines, <br />which includes a minor change in the timing of the monthly investment report to the City <br />Council. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no direct fiscal impact in approving the Investment Policy and Guidelines of the <br />City of Pleasanton. <br />
