Steve Peterson <br />Application for sign design review approval fora master sign program and new <br />"Comerica Bank" tenant signage for a commercial building located at 600 Main Street. <br />Zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, Core <br />Area Overlay District. <br />Action recommended: Approval. <br />Action taken: Approved per staff, with the following modifications: <br />Master Sipn Program: <br />1. The signage for secondary businesses shall not include logos. Any <br />requests for logos shall be processed as a Sign Design Review by <br />the Zoning Administrator. <br />2. The background color for all signage shall be muted and shall <br />complement the colors of the approved Master Sign Program. <br />3. The window and door signage facing Main Street for the primary <br />tenant shall be limited to three window signs and one door. <br />Comerica Bank: <br />1. Condition No. 2.a. of Exhibit A-2 regarding overhang and blade <br />signs conforming to the Master Sign Program shall be deleted. <br />2. The Comerica Bank trapezoid overhang signs shall be limited to <br />9 feet, 3 inches in length. <br />3.
