CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAIdTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84-347 <br />PARTIAL APPROVAL OF APPEAL OF NATION'S FOOD', SERVICE, <br />INC. FOR SIGN PROGRAM AT 5321-K HOPYARD ROAD <br />WHEREAS, Nation's Food Service, Inc. applied to the Design <br />Review Board for approval of a signing program for <br />their business at 4321-K Hopyard Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 13, 1984, the Design Review <br />Board approved the program for the number and size <br />of signs requested but prohibited any internal <br />illumination of the signs; and <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an <br />appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 10, 1984, the City Council <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Planning <br />and Community Development dated July 2, 1984 (SR <br />84:374); and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 10, <br />1984 at which time the applicant and any member of <br />the public was offered an opportunity to present <br />evidence regarding this appeal; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the appeal of Iation's Food Service, <br />Inc. and allows illumination per the original plan <br />on the south and west sides of the restaurant and <br />that two non-illuminated 20" high redwood signs <br />saying "Illations" can be placed on those same two <br />sides of the building. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler and I4ohr <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood and Mayor ~ rcer <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />l~,TTEST : . <br />~/ ~, _ ,_ L E NETH R.
