CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAIdTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 84-347 PARTIAL APPROVAL OF APPEAL OF NATION'S FOOD', SERVICE, INC. FOR SIGN PROGRAM AT 5321-K HOPYARD ROAD WHEREAS, Nation's Food Service, Inc. applied to the Design Review Board for approval of a signing program for their business at 4321-K Hopyard Road; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 13, 1984, the Design Review Board approved the program for the number and size of signs requested but prohibited any internal illumination of the signs; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 10, 1984, the City Council reviewed the report of the Director of Planning and Community Development dated July 2, 1984 (SR 84:374); and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 10, 1984 at which time the applicant and any member of the public was offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding this appeal; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the appeal of Iation's Food Service, Inc. and allows illumination per the original plan on the south and west sides of the restaurant and that two non-illuminated 20" high redwood signs saying "Illations" can be placed on those same two sides of the building. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
