CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-343 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS OF WEST LAS POSITAS <br />BOULEVARD AND FOOTHILL ROAD, PROJECT NO. 84-5, AND <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO EUGENE G. <br />ALVES CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Eugene G. Alves Construction on the improvements <br />of West Las Positas Boulevard and Foothill Road, <br />Project No. 84-5, has been satisfactorily completed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the improvements of West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard and Foothill Road is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $47,240.17 in favor of <br /> Eugene G. Alves Construction in satisfaction of <br /> the final progress payment for the above-accepted <br /> work on Project No. 84-5. Ten percent (10%) of <br /> the total contract or $5,248.91 will be retained <br /> until thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice <br /> of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~ E~RE . ~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> TEST: <br />~ames R.~ker, C <br /> George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter D.
