• Understanding the amount of hard and tedious work that it takes to keep a city <br />running. I enjoyed working with more than one person to receive a more <br />enhanced idea of what an engineer does <br />• I liked the opportunity to see how a fire crew operates like the family they form <br />3. What would make YIG more successful <br />• Reach out more to students at school, not so much the readers and high <br />ranked students, but also students who may be struggling to somewhat or <br />inspire them like it did me <br />• More participation from youth <br />• Maybe have a program where professional shadow students and better <br />understand the environment of teens <br />• I think in order to make YIG more successful, we can have the student and <br />job shadows have some ice breaker activity <br />The job people should take us to places that have to do with our job shadows <br />• It would be more successful if we knew more information about the job titles <br />we checked off to shadow before we turned in our apps <br />• More advertisement of the event and maybe more jobs <br />• To do more advertising at the schools so more students can participate <br />• More time shadowing and working with the shadows <br />• I think the program is perfect <br />• Maybe you could combine certain occupations to maximize the three hours <br />and make sure no one is left out <br />• It was perfectly good <br />• Maybe a little more time with the job shadows to experience more <br />• It would have been more successful if we got to follow up with our job shadow <br />afterwards and if we had one on one time <br />• Having more one on one time with my job shadow for Q and A and actual <br />daily routine <br />• Doing more activities.
