CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-338 <br /> <br />DENIAL OF THE CLAIM OF THE VELASCO HEIRS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on May 3, 1984, the City of Pleasanton received a <br />claim filed on behalf of the heirs of Salvador G. <br />Velasco in the sum of $7,525,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 1984, the City Council reviewed the claim <br /> and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim presented on May 3, 1984 on behalf of the <br /> heirs of Salvador G. Velasco in the sum of $7,525,000 <br /> is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: None ~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ <br /> <br /> es R.
