CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-333 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND OPERATING <br />ENGINEERS LOCAL UNION NO. 3 (POLICE) AND AMENDING <br />THE 1984-85 BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City <br />Manager as employer representative of the City <br />Council, and representatives of Operating Engineers <br />Local Union No. 3 (Police), ahve met and conferred <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., <br />of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, and <br />other terms and conditions of employment for members <br />of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the above meeting and conferring <br />process, a Memorandum of Understanding dated June 26, <br />1984 was entered into between the City Manager and <br />representatives of Operating Engineers Local Union <br />No. 3 (Police); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to <br />the City Council at the regular meeting of June 26, 1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br />the City Manager and representatives of Operating <br />Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police), for a term <br />commencing January 1, 1984 through December 31, 1984, <br />attached hereto, is accepted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton, subject to the terms and <br />conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to <br /> be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in <br /> Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police) during <br /> the period January 1, 1984 through December 31, 1984 <br /> shall be set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding, <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> The budget of the City of Pleasanton for fiscal <br />year 1984-85 is hereby amended to reflect those changes <br />enumerated in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
