CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-326 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1984-85 OPERATING BUDGET <br />FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Manager presented to the City Council a <br />Proposed Operating Budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a meeting was held on June 4, 1984 at which the <br />proposed budget was reviewed and a public hearing <br />was held to afford the public the opportunity to <br />speak; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Manager indicated that the Operating Budget <br />may need to be amended after the State Budget is <br />adopted and the level of State subventions is <br />established; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council reviewed the reDort of the Director of <br />Finance (SR 84:346) dated June 20, 1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves and adopts the 1984-85 Operating Budget <br /> as presented with the following amendments: <br /> <br />Delete transit program funding from the <br />City Manager's Budget <br /> <br />($4,500) <br /> <br />Add parking lot lighting for the Softball <br />field at Sports Park <br /> <br />30,000 <br /> <br />Add Access Road off Bernal Avenue to Upper <br />Fields at Pleasanton School <br /> <br />55,000 <br /> <br />Reclassify Director of Finance position <br />to Assistant City Manager and establish <br />the salary range at $3,192-$4,150 per month. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 26, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br />Mayor Mercer <br />None ~~~/t6~ <br />None <br />None <br /> <br /> KENNETH R.
