CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-323 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO UPDATE THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 65588(a) OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 26, 1984 received an application from the City of Pleasanton for an update to the Housing Element of the General Plan as required by Section 65588(a) of the Govern- ment Code, which consists of an examination of current housing needs, updated residential site inventory, and a housing program evaluation; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 26, 1984; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission' tion for approval of the update; and s recommenda- WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 26, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this update to the Housing Element is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the update to the Housing Element of the General Plan, as required by Section 65588(a) of the Government Code, as contained in the document entitled Housing Element Update of the Pleasanton General Plan, dated June 1984, on file in the Department of Planning and Cor~Lunity Development of the City of Pleasanton.
