CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-322 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN UPDATE OF THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 26, 1984, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for an update of the Housing Element of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 4, 1984 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Conn~ission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed update of the Housing Element of the General Plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an update of the Housing Element of the General Plan. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
