CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-322 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />AN UPDATE OF THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL <br />PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 26, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an update <br />of the Housing Element of the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated June 4, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Conn~ission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed update of <br />the Housing Element of the General Plan would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an update of <br /> the Housing Element of the General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 26, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br />Mayor Mercer <br />None <br /> <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> TEST: <br /> ~ENNETH R.
