For the majority of vehicles, it is assumed [ha[ fuel use for many vehicles was aggregated onto a few vehicles, especially for police vehicles. This is also likely true for equipment in the public works department. Therefore the majority of fuel used by vehicles in 2005 should be reported here. 2. Per an email from Daniel Smith, Fleet Manager Pleasanton purchased 159,177 gallons of fuel in 2005. Individual or aggregate consumption was reported by fuel type and vehicle/equipment for 138,997 gallons, leaving 20.180 gallons unaccounted for in the foal inventory. 3. Two public works vehicles were not included in the inventory as they have been removed from the fleet since 2005. These vehicles consumed 44.9 gallons of gas and 518.5 gallons of diesel for a total cost of $1,190.22. Data Sources: 1.
