passive, casual recreational uses during dry weather periods, to the extent feasible. <br />4.1.2 Provide other recreational facilities outside of the basin area, such as <br />tennis courts, bocce ball, dog park facilities, or other uses as determined by the <br />Pleasanton City Council. <br />4.2 Circulation <br />4.2.1 Limit vehicular access to the Neighborhood Park site from Stoneridge Drive, <br />utilizing the public road to the Continuing Care Community site. <br />4.2.2 Provide adequate on site or adjacent on street parking for planned Neighborhood <br />Park recreational activities. <br />4.2.3 Provide maintenance vehicle access points to the storm water basin. <br />4.2.4 Provide a separated sidewalk, a minimum of six feet in width, along adjacent <br />Auto Mall Place /EVA frontage and along the frontage with the public road to the <br />east, as well as internal pedestrian paths around the circumference of the <br />Neighborhood Park. <br />4.3 Landscaping and Lighting <br />4.3.1 Landscape the Neighborhood Park so that views of the adjacent Auto Mall site are <br />screened to the extent possible and so that it provides a visually pleasing entrance <br />to the adjacent Continuing Care Community site. <br />4.3.2 Landscaping within the storm water flow control basin area should be selected <br />and designed so that it will not interfere with or be damaged by storm water <br />detention. <br />4.3.3 If the Neighborhood Park recreational facilities will be lighted at night, ensure <br />that lighting spillover onto adjacent properties is minimized. <br />5. 17 Acre Community Park Site Design Standards <br />5.1 Overall Site Design <br />5.1.1 Provide for a variety of active and passive recreational uses and activities for the <br />larger Pleasanton community, such as trails, picnic areas, an ice skating facility, <br />ball fields, open space areas, and children's play areas, as determined by the <br />Pleasanton City Council. <br />Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan .4mendment /Staples Ranch <br />Draft October, 2008 <br />28 <br />
