CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0.84-297 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DEC- <br />LARATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF A SIX <br />STORY, 174-ROOM HOTEL AND RELATED FACILITIES <br />ON AN APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRE SITE LOCATED <br />ADJACENT AND TO THE WEST OF 6000 STONERIDGE <br />MALL ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 12, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration <br />for design review approval of a six story, 174-room <br />Doubletree Inn hotel and related facilities on an <br />approximately four acre site located adjacent and to <br />the west of 6000 Stoneridge Mall Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 1, 1984 and received the <br />reco~Lm~endations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />impacts insignificant; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for design <br />review approval of a six story, 174-room Doubletree Inn <br />hotel and related facilities on an approximately four acre <br />site located adjacent and to the west of 6000 Stoneridge <br />Mall Road, subject to mitigating conditions number 6, 7 <br />and 8 as set forth in ExhibitI"A" attached to Resolution <br />No. 84-298 and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
