CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0.84-297 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DEC- LARATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF A SIX STORY, 174-ROOM HOTEL AND RELATED FACILITIES ON AN APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRE SITE LOCATED ADJACENT AND TO THE WEST OF 6000 STONERIDGE MALL ROAD WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 12, 1984, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for design review approval of a six story, 174-room Doubletree Inn hotel and related facilities on an approximately four acre site located adjacent and to the west of 6000 Stoneridge Mall Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 1, 1984 and received the reco~Lm~endations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for design review approval of a six story, 174-room Doubletree Inn hotel and related facilities on an approximately four acre site located adjacent and to the west of 6000 Stoneridge Mall Road, subject to mitigating conditions number 6, 7 and 8 as set forth in ExhibitI"A" attached to Resolution No. 84-298 and incorporated herein by this reference.
