CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-289 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR 1984 ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY FAIR PARADE PERMIT FROM LIVERMORE-A~MADOR <br />VALLEY EXCHANGE CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of June 12,1984, <br />received a report dated June 11,1984 (SR 84:325) from <br />the Assistant to the City Manager regarding an appli- <br />cation from the Livermore-Amador Valley Exchange <br />Club for a permit to sponsor the 1984 Alameda County <br />Fair Parade on June 24, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has recommended that the City Council approve <br />the application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the application of Livermore-Amador Valley <br />Exchange Club for a permit to sponsor the 1984 Alameda <br />County Fair Parade on June 24, 1984, to be held in the <br />City of Pleasanton as more particularly delineated in the <br />report of the Assistant to the City Manager, subject to <br />all conditions set forth by the Police Department and <br />Fire Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for the 1983-84 fiscal year is amended <br /> by approximately $1,550 necessary to pay for costs <br /> incurred in relationship to the parade. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 12, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None J K N EC~~~~R.~ER~~yO~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> K <br /> j~/ r~/L~ ....', <br /> Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Peter D. ity Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
