CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-288 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPROPRIATION OF $23,000 FOR <br />FINAL COSTS OF POND RESTORATION, PROJECT NO. 82-14 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City's lease of City of San Francisco Water Depart- <br />ment lands for sewage effluent ponding called for <br />restoration of the area to its pre-existing condition <br />suitable for agricultural use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the restoration work was done within the budgeted <br />amount, however, it was later learned that the repre- <br />sentatives of San Francisco had required additional <br />work to be done by the contractor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities presented <br />his report (SR 84:312) to the City Council outlining in <br />detail the costs involved; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the appropriation of $21,000 for payment to <br /> Van Erickson Ranches for final payment of Pond Restora- <br /> tion Project No. 82-14. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Approves the appropriation of $2,000 as final payment <br />to San Francisco Water Department to satisfy lease <br />requirements of the land lease permit, and authorizes <br />staff to execute the necessary documents to satisfy the <br />terms of the land use permit. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 12, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />· e , ty ~ e <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APP~ROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
