CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-285 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF OAKLAND AVENUE WHEREAS, a certain portion of Oakland Avenue has become un- necessary for present or prospective public street use; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Pleasanton to vacate that portion of land Dursuant to the requirements of Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of California; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Pursuant to Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of California, the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of Oakland Avenue unnecessary for present or prospective public use, said portion being a sixty (60) foot wide strip running from Mohr Avenue north approximately 643.98 feet, but retaining a thirty foot public service easement over the westerly half of said parcel, more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Section 2: A public hearing shall be held on July 10, 1984, at 8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California, at which time public testimony will be taken with regard to the City's intention to vacate the portion of roadway described above. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
