CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-282 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND HOPYARD <br />PROFESSIONAL CENTER, C & H DEVELOPMENT COMPANY <br />AND CONSTANTINE CHRISTOPOULOS, ET AL. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in conjunction with the realignment of Owens <br />Drive/Johnson Drive, it was necessary to commence <br />condemnation actions for acquisition of various <br />properties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />negotiated settlements have been reached which will <br />conclude the above actions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council approves the settlement agreements <br />between the City of Pleasanton and Hopyard Professional <br />Center, C & H Development Company and Constantine <br />Christopoulos, et al., copies of which are attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. The <br />above-referenced agreements are conceptual only and <br />the final settlement agreements may vary so long as <br />they are identical as to all substantive issues. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Counsel representing the City of Pleasanton in the <br />above-described actions is authorized to execute the <br />above-described settlement agreements on behalf of the <br />City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 12, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ames R.~Walker, City <br /> Doris George, Deputy City C erk <br /> <br /> · <br />Peter D. ~acDo~al~,lCity A:torney <br /> <br /> <br />
